A warm welcome
Joining a new practice can feel like a small administrative chore. We try to make it feel like the start of a relationship instead. This short guide covers everything you need to know in the first few weeks.
Registering as a patient
Registration takes about five minutes. You can register online from the contact page or call the front desk and we will guide you through it. We will ask for:
- Your full name, date of birth and contact details
- A brief medical history: current medications, allergies, recent diagnoses
- Details of any previous practice so we can request your records (with your consent)
There is no charge for registration.
What to expect at the first visit
The first appointment is deliberately longer than a standard slot. We use the extra time to:
- Take a thorough medical history, including the social and lifestyle context that often shapes health outcomes
- Understand what brought you in and what you are hoping the practice can help with
- Agree the initial direction of care, whether that is a routine wellness baseline, investigation of a specific concern or transitioning ongoing care from another provider
You will leave the first appointment with a clear plan, a named clinician and a sense of the next step.
What to bring
- Photo ID (passport or driving licence)
- Proof of address if you have moved recently
- A list of current medications and dosages
- Records or letters from any specialists you are seeing elsewhere
If you do not have all of these to hand, do not let it delay the appointment. We can follow up afterwards.
Questions
The front desk is always happy to answer questions before your visit. Email or call us if anything is unclear.
